We did school at the park this morning & you know that learning makes you VERY hungry!!!! :):) So we went to the grocery store & got some donuts!!! They seemed to really like 'em!!!!

God has been really working in my life the last couple of weeks!!! Last year our school year did not go as I wished it would have.. I started praying & asking God to help me see what was missing & He did!!!!!!! I realized that I wasn't treasuring the gifts[my children] like I should have been..I can't describe what I'm feeling right now in my heart!!! Its a joy that only comes from my Father who has had compassion & love for this mother....!!!!! I've even had one of my children say that they already like this school yr better than last year!!!! I just wanted to jump up & down in praise!!!! WOOHOO!!!!!!!!!!!!! So thankful that God loves us inspite of what we do, act or think!!! Thankful that God is finished with me yet!!!!

Yesterday morning got up at 5:00 an went on my 2 mile walk with hubby then came in & got cinnamon rolls going... I love the smell of fresh baked things!!! Then out of the house by 9:30 to take some warm rolls over to the guys at work!!! Then after lunch helped a mom from church out!!! Then for supper hubby gets me chinese..Yummmmm.... I was tired but felt very blessed when I went to bed!!!

The last 8 weeks have been challenging weeks for us as a family!!! Sometimes I wonder how people make it without Christ in there life...He is the truest friend we will ever have....There were times when I was like how can we go on but we made it & today I can say that thru it all we have learned to trust an wait on the Lord....God never promised a bed of roses in the christian life but he has promised that he will be with us every step that we take!!What a comforting thought to know that our Father will carry us through every trial that we face!!!!
